We are really happy to say Frances is doing very well. He has changed completely since attending the boot camp, even more so than we all could have expected. We pay particular attention to them during meal time and we make sure to send Frances to his mat before and after his meals as we're cleaning up.
Frances had little to no problem getting back to being part of the family. I think he's learned so much at the school, I was really surprised at what the program was able to accomplish for him. His aggression is under control, and he is more playful and attentive to us.
I have to admit being very stressed at what it would be like after he came back, and it's been better than what we could have all anticipated. Frances looks more at ease with us and happier overall, which we are so grateful to you and Julia for.

RUFF LOVE
TRAINING
RUFF LOVE PROGRAM is a 4 week board/train program. Your dog will stay at our facility for the duration of the program. Their daily routine consists of a minimum of 3x daily training periods with staff trainers, trips to local parks for real life training, and playtime with their doggie daycare friends. You will receive a DVD video of your dog's training process that can be played on your TV or computer at home. This will include clips from when your dog first enters the program, when they are learning basics, up to their final week.
Perhaps you've heard that a dog will listen only to the person who trains it, so it's useless for someone else train your dog. Our program is different. Here's why:
We teach your dog to want to perform the trained behaviors - to love his job because he loves the work.
Our positive approach teaches cooperation and motivation. This easily carries over from the trainer to the owner, an adult, child, man or woman.
We work with you after your dog is trained. We show you in the follow up lessons how to get your dog to work for you. Once you get home, the DVD will help remind you what you may have forgotten on the way home.
Our training isn't a mystical secret. We'll teach you a set of skills that can easily be mastered by a loving, caring dog owner. Our involvement doesn't end when you get home, contact us anytime for help. Brushup training is available through the Doggie DaySchool Program.
The Details!
Basic commands are taught: Come when called, sit, down, stay, walk on loose leash, leave it, off, & many more.
Behavioral training: Crate or confinement training, how to greet strangers, biting, jumping, wildness or aggression issues. **Be aware that some aggression issues are better resolved with private training**
Included in this program, are multiple follow up lessons to show you how to work with your new-trained dog. Owners are strongly encouraged during the last 2 weeks of your dog's stay to meet with the trainers 3-4 times before your dog is ready to go home. The number of times you meet with the trainer during your dog's stay at our facility will greatly increase your chance of success. There is a 2hr go home lesson the day your dog is ready to go home. After your dog is home, we
will continue to provide follow up lessons if needed. We are here to advise you through the process. It's all included in the one time fee.
Owners are encouraged to join trainers at the local park when real life training is being done.
We only have 5 in-kennel training clients at any one time. You must leave a 50% deposit to book your dates. The balance will be due at the time of drop off. All training services must be prepaid.
To ensure success for this program, owner must be willing to follow up according to the advice of the trainer. This will require you getting trained as well (grin) in how to manage behavior issues and continue training at home. Be prepared to learn a lot.
This program is only available to dogs 4 months of age or older.
Cost: $1500 for four weeks. Includes follow up lessons, training equipment & boarding.
This program is offered in shorter duration s ($750 for 2 weeks) only for previously trained dogs and at the permission of the head trainer. Only dogs who stay for one month or longer will receive the DVD of their training process. The 2 week program also only includes 2 lessons with a W&W trainer versus the 30 day program includes numerous lessons.
