There are so many reasons why I completely trust your wonderful facility and your entire happy caring staff; so I will keep this short!
Harley - 4 year old German Shepherd - has attended W&W since he was 4 months old!! He loves to board, play and before his hip dysphasia loved agility class.
Bella - 6 month old Golden Retriever - started attending W&W at the early age of 3 months and has already boarded twice!
April 2008 Harley underwent total hip replacement surgery, which is a very involved surgery with a long recovery period. A mere 7 weeks post op my husband and I must go out of town. Well naturally the first place I call is W&W. At the same time Bella was spayed but she was recovered enough to be ready for action at W&W.
Your staff took excellent care of Harley. They knew his limitations and would make sure he did not over do. This was also the first time Harley and Bella would be sleeping in the same kennel. I knew the staff would keep the peace between them and offer Harley relief if he became anxious or needed to be alone.
A very BIG Thank you, Thanks to All your Staff!!
Oh, this also helps my husband who has never had a dog before, let alone now having two. Since they are both athletic spending the day at W&W gives both of us a quiet evening or two in the house!!

CANINE FITNESS, CONDITIONING & WELLNESS
What is the Canine Fitness Program?
Wags & Wiggles has teamed up with Caroline Goulard DVM, CCRT, & CVA. She is Certified in Canine Rehabilitation Therapy & Certified in Veterinary Acupuncture.
We ask a lot of our dogs physically. They run, jump, wrestle, tug, swim, and play with their friends. Proper conditioning can minimize strain or damage that might occur during these activities. If dogs participate in agility, frisbee, lure coursing, obedience or any other sport, the importance
of proper conditioning only escalates.
This conditioning program has been developed from proven fitness strategies, veterinary sports medicine, and canine physical therapy exercises. Even older dogs can highly benefit from this program in regards to minimizing pain, increase mobility, and increase their quality of life.
Part of this program includes FitPAWS® Canine Conditioning Equipment which can be used by our four-legged friends for core strengthening, increased range of motion and flexibility, neuromuscular facilitation, sensory and perceptual stimulation, joint alignment, and balance control. Whether your dog is involved in agility, dock jumping, other dog sports, or is a working dog or a couch potato with healthier aspirations, core strength is a fundamental element used by your dog to control its body when jumping, turning, running and to help prevent injuries.
STRUCTURE OF THE CLASSES:
Each dog and handler team work together using Fit Paws Canine Conditioning Equipment. The equipment will be available for use in class and be available for sale to continue use at home. Other exercises will also be shown to increase core strength and flexibility. At per the Wags & Wiggles philosphy, all exercises are done with positive reinforcement and fun. Our program is for healthy dogs not currently undergoing treatement.
Dogs with ongoing neurological and orthopedic problems are not allowed in the class without consent from Caroline. While we do provide support in class, some exercises will require physical effort from the owner to stabilize the ball. All dogs participating in class
must have had some basic training either at home or in a class. No aggressive dogs please.
Lecture & Classes
Caroline offers a free lecture on "Physical Rehabilitation and the canine athlete". This lecture is 1 1/2 hrs long with a question and answer period.
We also offer a 4 week class "Balance and Core Stability, Introduction" for $140. Each class is approximately 1 hr long. We will be adding more advanced classes and private consults as our program grows.
