BARKIMONIAL

Thanks for the great CU Workshop! I read the book and couldn't wait to learn the techniques. Laurie was so knowledgable and she can really tell what the dog is thinking and going through. It was amazing.

I've gone back now to my regular classes in agility and flyball and applied the CU techniques. Bailey has better focus and is showing much less signs of stress. I've emailed Laurie several times with questions and she has been great with after class follow up. I'm so glad Bailey and I found you!

Control Unleashed

What is Control Unleashed?

The Control Unleashed program is designed to help "dogs with issues" learn how to relax, focus, and function off leash reliably in either stimulating or stressful situations. Dogs will true aggression problems should do private lessons. Control Unleashed is better suited for dogs that try to run off, sniff, shut down, are easily agitated, or have fear/anxiety issues. Does this sound like your dog:

Uncomfortable or unable to work off-leash around other dogs?
Easily distracted, Sniffs a lot, wanders off, won't come?
Unwilling to play with you or a toy in public?
Gets too wound up by playing with a toy around other dogs?
Anxious, stressed, or shut down?
Unable to control their impulses when excited?
Does your dog lose its mind once it starts to run?
Unable to be quiet and relaxed in a class or trial environment?
Does your dog need barriers in class?
A potential competitor in any dog sport (agility, rally, freestyle, flyball)?

Wags & Wiggles offers CU 4 hr workshops and 4 week classes based off the very popular book. Laurie has worked with trainers affiliated with the making of the book. First and foremost, this program will help you better understand your dog's body language and how to use that knowledge to your benefit. You will learn a routine for you and your dog to follow in all circumstances in order obtain attention, control, and teamwork. Control Unleashed activities include: Go To your Mat, Look At that, Give Me A Break Game, Reorientating Exercises, Release cues, Motivational Games, Toy Play Skills, Targeting, Moving to Off Leash, Building Drive, Creating and on/off switch, Dealing with Close Encouters with dogs & other triggers. Obviously, a class will cover more than a 4 hour workshop will, however the workshop gives you a great foundation to learn more. Students in the 4 week classes will have options to continue with class after the first series.
